It might be a dark and grainy photo, but adventures to the movie theater are becoming a favorite family activity. We went to see The Good Dinosaur, and although I don't know that it was the best Disney movie, it still was cute and entertaining. I do think the show was a little dark and scary at a few points. That said, the little guy hasn't stopped talking about dinosaurs since so the scary parts weren't really a lasting concern.

I know I had some problems with Shutterfly this past fall, and actually recently had another shipping issue, but I've always been pleased with their cards and address labels. This year I used up all our Pampers points that I had been collecting since the little guy was born and cashed in on free holiday cards. Now that the cards are in the mail making their way across the country I thought I would post them here.

I bought a Groupon for a Light Show down in Larkspur at Jelly Stone campground. For $10 we were able to stay in the warm and toasty car and drive through the campgrounds that had been decorated for the season. I would say it was worth the $10 Groupon buy, but probably not the full price $20 admission for the car. The little guy has been very into the light displays on the houses, but I think he was somewhat confused by the drive down to Larkspur to see lights when we could just see them in our neighborhood. The lights at the show were synced to music on a dedicated radio station.

Costco currently has a bear that is like 8 feet tall or something crazy, but a few months back we picked up a smaller bear that still is massive. He is our boy's best friend. They wrestle. They hug. They eat snacks together. When we pick A up from school he says, "Let's go see Bear." Bear has been a great addition to our family.
