On Saturday we were headed up to Brighton to for our annual salsa canning day, and on the way we stopped at Berry Patch Farms to pick strawberries. I haven't been to a picking farm since I was very young and spent a day with my dad picking a variety of things. Only strawberries and cucumbers were ready for harvesting.
One of my favorite parts of the adventure was taking the tractor ride out into the field, and of course the green cardboard berry crates we put our berries in. Little A picked all the berries and happily put them in our buckets. It was such a beautiful morning, and I can't wait to go back. For just about $8 we brought home two pints of berries and one cucumber, which I thought was a steal for a nice family outing. And, the berries were amazing, so sweet, so perfect.
